Adding MOV files

I would like to take screen recordings from my iPad (which I will edit sometimes need to edit in iMovie), to use on some of my notes. As far as I can tell, iMovie only exports to MOV format.

So, my questions are, (1) can you can add video files to notes in Ankimobile? (the manual says “media files” without mentioning video files specifically), and (2) if so, are MOV files compatible with Ankimobile?

Tapping on the paperclip icon will allow you to attach photos & videos from your photo library, including screen recordings made with the built-in iOS screen recorder.
