However, while suspending cards it’s possible if you are in the browser, the Suspend Note command seems to be missing in the relevant menus:
Still, is possible to suspend all cards of a note while you are in Note mode by pressing CTRL + J (or Card > Toggle Suspend), but I find this workaround kind of confusing, specially for less experienced users.
For the sake of homogeneity and ease of use, I think adding the Suspend Note command (or Toggle Suspend if you prefer) to the Notes menus in the browser will be a logical step.
Yeah, its weird that you can do everything to the note from the contextual menu, except that one thing
I even doubted that you could suspend the note for a couple of days. Then i realized you can actually do it from the reviewer so it is possible and had to double check why this was missing
I suspect it is because it is an implementation detail and internally you cant suspend notes, only individual cards, but as a final user, it is confusing it is in one menu but not the other
On the other hand i just learned about edit > select notes
Any news on this since this was posted? I would be interested in submitting a PR for this since this is an important feature for me, but I am unable to find ankiweb anywhere on github.
I just replied to this topic because the question was relevant, I guess the tag should have been selected more accurately to reflect that it’s about Ankiweb? I also didn’t want to open a new question because it would be a duplicate of this, and there is no Ankiweb topic, only an Syncing and Ankiweb tag for this topic.
Ah, I misread then since I assumed OP meant ankiweb when he said “in browser”. For ankiweb the interface currently looks like this so there is no way to perform any action on the card:
I guess it makes sense. If not, someone will move the post to a better category. Though AnkiWeb is very minimal, so it’s possible that your request won’t be included. But always good to open a topic and ask.
