Add audio to card

Hello all. Trying add audio to a card. Could someone explain it step by step? Here’s what I’m doing.
Windows 10. Anki 2.1.57.
In main menu, I select

Decks > the deck I want to edit > Browse > click on the card I want to edit > head over to the paper clip and microphone icons which are to the right.

Those are note clickable. Option is there to add audio by way of a file or mic recording but I cannot access those functions.
Any help would be appreciated.
