I’d like to be able to add addon via its code through command line interface
I use installer-scripts to setup my (linux) PCs and adding addons to anki is one of the few things i currently need to do manually
It is possible - I’d added this feature to my Anki Script addon, so you can look there for an idea as to how to do it. I’d also added there the ability to configure an addon that uses a json config file.
I believe that the Butler addon may do something similar.
