That would be inaccurate. Hard does not show the card again and thus shouldn’t be named like that.
The downside is more code and maintainance burden. Additionally, having lots of settings that most people wouldn’t use causes cognitive load – we already have a big problem with users thinking anki is hard, even though it’s actually fairly simple.
For me as a (power) user though, I couldn’t really care less about this setting existing.
Why do you have to remember them? They are in order from left to right, where again means you failed the card (partially or completely) and the other buttons mean you passed. The more to the right you go, the better you remembered the card.
Maybe you’re having difficulty because you’re missing important info? Studying - Anki Manual explains the answer buttons, which might help you.
Aside from that – I don’t think adding an option to change the text is sensible. If the answer buttons really are that unclear (and you really aren’t alone with this), then there needs to be better labels or some sort of short in-app instructions on first launch. In other words: treat the cause, not the symptoms.
