Hi,
i searched here that someone say if you haven’t used anki for 10years, the intervals are of course huge.
however, this is a card that i visited 3 times in this 1.5yr, and i do quite frequently DO anki.
the infos are here.
would be nice if someone can help me what to do now.
ps: i have changed from SM2 V2/V3 to FSRS recently.
ps: previously i used an addon that modify intervals.
after i was forced onto 23.10+FSRS (long story), i ONLY change the retention percentage now. for this card, previously would be 80% and now i would set it at 90%.
my aim:
keep the histories yet make the interval back to < 3mo,
and set the FSRS retention rate at 90%. thx

(I wonder how did you get a 2 month interval at the beginning.)
Did you optimise your parameters?
yeah i added info into #1 ,
that previous in 2.1.54 era i used addon to modify intervals to employ priorities.

You can use Set Due Date on this card to get it a lower interval than before.

Can you show me your parameters and stability graph?
let me try ask gpt4 and show you those.
of course i can only show the currently 23.10 + FSRS one,
the old one 2.1.54 with v2/v3 is gone.
thx

No these are FSRS specific things. SM2 didn’t have them.
You can get them from stats and deck options screen.
i’ll have to screenshot part by part.
here they are, thx
i have no intention to play with the algorithm, also i have zero knowledge in it,
so the best thing to do is “do nothing”.
i was forced into 23.10+FSRS by the image occlusion bug for late 2.1.5x and also want to setup a self server.
ok, i am having exam soon in about 3 months time,
i’ll manually re scheule them at this moment.
thanks
hi, even i use “set due dates” to set them to due today,
in hjp previewer, i saw that for good/easy, the intervals are still like 3 yrs.
i.e. even i DO the card today, their next appearance is still 3yr something.
for simple solution, is it that i discard the histories,
then reset the card using a function in the Rt click and then an addon?
thanks
ps i have to dig out what those 2 functions are.
Rt click’s forget and an addon “remove card history”"?
err,
when i do so,
the "schedule card on change"give a warning suggesting that those just upgrade from SM2 should not do so?
and the action on “3” is not saved.
when i enter the option again, it’s still off.
anyway i just use “forget” to reset any cards that are due too far/interval too long, ease too large etc.
thanks
