When I tried to download Anki Desktop from the Homepage, it links me to the GitHub Asset download page which returned a 404.
The download link did not work for all Windows, Mac, and Linux installation. It seemed like all the asset download links in the GitHub Release returned a 404 for me. Only the ‘Source code’ downloads were working for me.
Thankfully, while writing this post, the problem resolved itself on it’s own. The download started working on 09:37 UTC. It seemed to have been a temporary problem on GitHub - githubstatus reports GitHub having an issue at that time.
But I thought I’d still post this to let people know that there was a problem today. I was lost on what to do when I encountered the problem.
