I can’t download anki on my computer. Whenever I click on a link to download it I just get to ankis start page. Is there something wrong or do I just not understand how to do it?
Are the links at Anki’s home page not working for you? It works for me.
Try downloading directly from here:
there is no “download” link for me on the home page. If I click on docs and then from there click on categories until I find a download link, I am just redirected to the home page when I click the download link.
It says “download anki” on top of the screen.
okay, could you copy that link for me? Because for me there is no link on top of the screen for some reason.

Could you screenshot what you see in https://apps.ankiweb.net/? This is a rare report which might help users in a similar situation

- What is your Safari version? See here, or manually search: Safari > About Safari (Latest is 18.5 (20621.2.5.11.8))
- What is your MacOS version? See here or manually search: Apple icon in top left > About this mac (Latest is 15.5)
- Do you use any extension? Which? Safari > Options > Extensions

I recognize that screen, but I don’t know how you got stuck there. When the screen gets too small, the top nav bar items turn into a collapsed 3-lines menu.
And then expanding that shows you the nav bar items.
But you are missing the crucial 
in the upper right to exit, and the “Download” link at the bottom. Try clearing the cache/cookies for the site?
