When I downloaded the flashcard decks it appeared as 0 cards and I haven’t studied anything yet. When I click into the deck it says “Congratulations! You have finished this deck for now”. When I try to use the custom study feature it says no cards available. I have deleted and re downloaded the decls about 5 times. I am not sure what to do next and I need help with this issue. Thank you.
- Click on the gear icon and open the deck options. Make sure the limits are big enough. Click the “?” icon if you need explanations.
- Look in the statistics → pie chart (make sure the toggle is ON). Do you see any non-suspended non-buried new cards?
If that’s the setup for your “Endocrine” deck, you should also check the settings for its subdecks as well.
In addition, update Anki if possible.
They are all the same setting.
How do I go about with the update ?
Download it from https://apps.ankiweb.net. The installer will open a terminal window so don’t panic. Press ENTER in the terminal window to start the download. After that, just wait.
If it says there’s an error, you could try to find solutions here on the forums, or download the slightly older, but much more reliable version in terms of installing: Release 25.02.7 · ankitects/anki · GitHub.
Did you look in the stats, what you see? Make sure the toggle is on so we can tell if the cards are suspended/buried or not.
Also, open the card browser and look at the due column or the deck column. Are there any that say “(filtered)” or similar?

Do you have multiple decks/subdecks with the same name? In the Browse window, you can click the deck/subdeck names (under “Decks”) in the left sidebar and see if perhaps one has cards and the other does not. Browsing - Anki Manual
There aren’t any cards in that deck. So Anki isn’t offering you any cards when you try to study that deck, because it’s empty.
Did you look in the other subdeck – the one you posted the Stats page for? That’s where the cards are.
