"Your connection was interrupted" error when loading stats

i wasnt able to make this error show up again but here is what happened

  1. i did my work with it
  2. i put my pc to sleep with anki minimized in task bar
  3. came back after few hours, opened my pc and maximized anki
  4. i wanted to see my stats really quickly and pressed on Stats and got the error. it looks like google chrome or something

i dont have ankiweb account

Anki uses a local connection to communicate with itself. Theoretically there is nothing gained by shutting it down when the computer goes to sleep, but for some reason either Windows or the web toolkit are not handling this case well.
