This means that your uncompressed collection size (without media) is over 546 MB large, but the server only allows 300 MB.

You’d have to delete cards and then run Check Database as described in the faq: Are there limits on file sizes on AnkiWeb? - Anki FAQs.

Or you try to set up your own sync server.

And in case the message re-appears: That just means the things you deleted weren’t enough to decrease your collection size by over 200 MB.

Before you start deleting things willy-nilly – you should seriously consider using Alex’s Note Size add-on to figure out where the problem is.

Your collection is enormous, but there’s bound to be a reason for that. It’s all text, so getting to that size is very unusual. If you’ve got notes with an excess of hidden HTML, or an out of control amount of review history, solving those issues might mean that you can keep going without deleting anything.

Exactly. @satosu, you should sort notes by column Size (texts), because media files don’t contribute to the collection size (they are stored separately)

@satosu , another useful size to check is Revision log size. You can find it in the tooltip like in this picture:

I understand you are using your Anki collection as a resource, but I think it’s fair to say 780K cards is excessive. There’s no way you could study that many cards, and the sheer amount of text it would take to get your collection to that size is staggering.

You’ve got some decisions to make if you want to keep syncing your collection.
