Writing mode & API

Hi guys,

Im looking for the application where I can learn new vocabulary in both mobile and web versions.

Writing mode is very required for me over one set and (or) over folder with multiple sets. Does Anki has this feature in paid apps or other ways to import huge amount of word-definition pairs?

Also Does Anki has a open API so that I can import easily numerous of words from my notes in csv or excel formats via http to Anki’s backend?

Many thanks for your answer

Anki has mobile, desktop, and web versions. https://apps.ankiweb.net/

You don’t need an API or special mode or backend access to create your notes. You can import them directly into the Anki mobile or desktop apps with a properly formatted text/CSV file. Text Files - Anki Manual

You didn’t answer my questions at all

  1. Does Anki have writing mode?
  2. Does Anki have an API? If I ask for it, I need it.

You asked about importing “in csv or excel formats” – so I gave you an answer, even if it was not the answer you hoped for.

  1. I don’t know what you mean by “writing mode.”
  2. You can use AnkiConnect https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/2055492159 .
  1. Also it could be spelling mode. Write definitions not just taping on the screen. This mode focuses on testing the user’s ability to correctly spell the terms or answers associated with the flashcards. Here’s how spelling mode typically works in a flashcard application
  2. I wrote about numerous words that is why I need an API. Thank you so much for the link!
  1. Got it. Yes, Anki has a type-your-answer feature. Field Replacements - Anki Manual
  2. Text import can handle “numerous words” just fine.

Great.
