sometimes I use Anki on my main display while studying, but other times I just put it on my second monitor to add words I’d encounter while doing other stuff.
The problem is, every window Anki shows up (add card, browse, edit card, preview/fields/card window, etc.) is in the last display the window was manually dragged to, instead of the current one.
This can be really annoying, because it forces you to choose between: having to drag every window that pops to the current display, or just making you to look at different screens while you’re doing anything inside the application.
I haven’t seen any config. related to the issue. Is there any solution to this?
I’m not sure if this works 100% since it’s been a long time since I used it. But when I launched anki in the second screen, it opened there, and it’s secondary windows opened there too. I was able to launch it in the second screen from the anki icon pinned to the taskbar. So each screen had a taskbar and it’s pinned icon. I don’t know if it’ll work if you launch it from the explorer or something else.
Unfortunately this or anything else I tried didn’t work…
