Window 10 - can't import decks that contain media

I have tried the procedures in this link Windows permission problems / Problems / Knowledge Base - AnkiMobile/AnkiWeb Support but it still doesn’t work.

The error message is unable to access Anki media folder. The permissions on your systems temporary folder may be incorrect.

I have also tried to change the file permission of temp folder and gave full control to both temp and anki_temp. However, it is still not working.

Please give me some suggestions o fixing this, thanks in advance!

Other things you could try:

  • moving the file somewhere else before trying to import it
  • making sure your Anki data folder has the correct permissions
