Using Images from Google

In the Terms of AnkiWeb it says that I am not allowed to upload content that I don’t have the “intellectual property rights to use, due to copyright, trademark, patent or other protection”. Does that mean that I can’t sync decks that contain images from Google, even if they are solely for my own personal use (meaning that I wouldn’t share the deck and just use it across my own devices)?

As is mentioned in the terms your local jurisdiction may have fair use provisions, but the safest option is to stick to images that have a free license.
