Use Batch Edit to change plain text links into HTML?

I have nearly 5000 entries in Anki. A field named “Link,” currently contains web links in plain text. I would like to change them all at once to HTML. Is this possible with Batch Edit or some other method?

That was quick! Could you be more specific please? I tried unsuccessfully entering a hyperlink tag in the card formatting.

I don’t know exactly how I managed it, but I figured it out! It’s now working. This is what I did on the card (field name is “link”):
