Updating Anki changes display of unicode character „Ⓟ“ (U+24C5)

Hello there

Updating Anki from Version 2.1.49 to Version 2.1.50 changes how Anki displays the unicode character „Ⓟ“ (U+24C5), that i use a lot in my cards.

Anki 2.1.49:

Anki 2.1.50:

Card id and styling are in both cases identical.

Operating system: Windows 10

Is there something i’m doing wrong on my part? Can the old display be achieved in the new version of Anki?

Cheers!

Newer releases use a newer web toolkit. Either it’s using a different default font, or they’ve decided to change the display of that character for some reason.

Ah ok, thanks for the answer

If you don’t really like the font changing when updating your software, you can also specify a font so you do not rely on the default being subject to changes.
