Ubuntu: command anki not found

I just installed the last version of Anki on ubuntu, and for some reason this lead to the error message:

Command ‘anki’ not found, but can be installed with:
sudo apt install anki

That’s a first for me. Up to know, I never had problem opening anki once it got installed

If you mean you installed the packaged version, what does /usr/local/bin/anki point to? Is it in your path?

I mean I downloaded on https://apps.ankiweb.net/ and followed instructions to install

/usr/local/bin/anki is a folder
/usr/local/bin/anki/Anki points to /usr/local/share/anki/bin/Anki

If you uninstall and then reinstall it should fix it for now; I’ll tweak this in the next update.
