Trouble logging into Anki with desktop

  1. Latest Anki (press Enter)

  2. Choose a version

  3. Allow betas: off

  4. Cache downloads: on

  5. Download mirror: off

  6. Uninstall

Hi, does anyone know when I now try to launch Anki I’m getting the above message and being stuck waiting in a loop like this for ages? Even when I deleted and uninstalled I still got this message…

That’s not a login screen – that’s the launcher. It looks like you’ve already followed the instructions to press 1 and Enter, now you need to wait for it to finish a one-time download of the files it needs.
