Hello, I’m unable to use the desktop Anki app.
After completing the installation of the desktop Anki app, I double-click the app icon and see a command window with the information as below.
Just what I predicted: when a regular user sees a terminal prompt, they suddenly get unable to act. I don’t mean to belittle anyone, but that’s just how it is. Hopefully we can get a simple GUI with buttons to press.

Does the internet work and is connected on the computer that you’re trying to run Anki on? It seems like the launcher is trying to download required Anki files but fails.
