Anki Launcher doesn't work/Installment not possible

Hello. I had an older version of Anki on my Mac and wanted to download the new version and upgrade to it. I downloaded the file from the Anki website and opened the Anki Launcher (25.09) by double‑clicking it. Then I dragged the Anki app icon into the Applications folder.

However, when I try to open Anki, a Terminal window opens and shows the following content:

Anki Launcher

  1. Latest Anki (press Enter)

  2. Choose a version

  3. Allow betas: off

  4. Cache downloads: on

  5. Download mirror: off

  6. Uninstall

What do I need to do? I urgently need help.

Just press the Enter key on the terminal window to install the latest version of anki
