Track leeches for mature cards only

I wanted to suggest an option to only enable the leech feature for mature cards or track a metric specifically for mature cards. I still like the leech function overall, but the way I use Anki is incorrect—I don’t pre-learn my cards. I use Anki to learn everything from scratch, so I don’t really care much about young cards and mostly focus on mature ones.

I haven’t fully worked out the logic for how this would work, but figured I’d put the idea out there in case it’s useful or even worth considering.

That’s pretty much everyone learning langauges. I’m sure there’s no “right” or “wrong” here.

If you just want to find mature leech cards, you can search prop:ivl>21 tag:leech.

By default, the leech threshold is at 8 and I don’t think many young cards would get that tag anyway. If you find you’re repeating cards a lot in the short-term, you can probably modify your learning steps too.
