NOTE I don’t wan’t to create a filtered deck! Nor do I want to use tags.
I would just like to be able to save a query like:
deck:Japanese is:new tag:fromDict order:Due(desc)
And then have a new section like queries where I can easily click on it and get the result.
If you go into the cards browser next to the search bar is an arrow down button. There are all the queries you used in the past.
Saved Searches
If you regularly search for the same thing, you can save the current search by right-clicking the topmost item in the sidebar, choosing “Save Current Search” and typing in a name. You can also drag and drop any sidebar item onto this area to add an equivalent saved search, effectively pinning it at the top.
Do you happen to know how many queries it stores?
No, but certainly a few dozens. Maybe there is a hardlimit defined in the source code though.
The search bar has a history of your last 30 searches. But “Saved Searches” sounds closer to what you’re looking for.
