The new study screen feature in the Android app has a problem. When I enable it and go to the vocabulary list, the audio pronunciations for the words disappear; there is no sound at all. However, when I disable this feature and go back to the words, the audio returns.
Do you mean TTS? That was removed in the new study screen and you now have to use the proper way: Field Replacements - Anki Manual .
