The card should not to appear

I need the card not to appear at all if the field “Synonyms” is empty. But instead when it is empty the AnkiDroid shows a card with an error message: “The front of this card is blank”.
What’s wrong??

For cards that were already created before that template was edited, you just need to run a “check” for empty cards and you’ll be able to delete them. AnkiDroid 2.16 User Manual
