Syncing Failed - Can't Resolve

I am receiving the below error when trying to sync using my desktop application. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Syncing failed:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File “aqt\sync.py”, line 342, in run
File “aqt\sync.py”, line 408, in _sync
AttributeError: ‘Syncer’ object has no attribute ‘hostNum’

I am also having troubling the second error I am receiving. Any suggestions?

Your Anki client does not support the new timezone handling yet. Please switch to the legacy handling in the computer version’s Preferences screen.

What version of Anki are you using?
Also, are you using an old version of AnkiMobile/AnkiDroid on your phone? If so and you can’t update for some reason, try enabling the legacy timezone handling option from Tools > Preferences on your computer.
