Sync error with 2.1.44

Hello, I cannot sync my desktop Anki. Here is the error:

I don’t recall when my last successful sync was but I think it was in the last week, and it did work after upgrading to 2.1.44. I am not using a VPN and haven’t actively made any firewall changes recently.

Thanks. The culprit seems to have been a proxy setting that I think was enabled by an app I downloaded to block distracting sites and apps.
