Suspected bug: browser editor's Ctrl+Shift+N reverts any changes in selected field since last cursor blink

The GitHub issue tracker has a written request for non-devs to post suspected bugs in the forums. I’m not a dev.

Issue: In the browser’s editor window while editing a note’s fields, unless I wait for the cursor to blink, using Ctrl-Shift-N to jump to the note’s first field forgets any new edits in the selected field since the last time I gave the cursor time to blink.

Notes:

  1. Waiting for the blink is an option to “save” my new changes, but instantaneously hitting Ctrl-N / Ctrl-P or tabbing to another field before hitting Ctrl-Shift-N also works.
  2. Ctrl-Shift-N is the only one I’ve found that’s reverting fields. My new edits are not dropped when hitting Ctrl-Shift-R to go to the sidebar, Ctrl-F to go to search, Ctrl-Shift-F to go to the sidebar filter, or Ctrl-Shift-L to go to the list.
  3. If I delete content and immediately Ctrl-Shift-N, that change is also reverted.

Thank you for the confirmation and update. Dae merged this.

I won’t have a way to test the change on my end in a decent time frame, so I’ll assume it works and mark this topic solved.
