Support for Url Scheme to open a particular deck / iOS Shortcuts

Hi Damien,

Thank you once again for all your work on Anki—it’s been great to see new updates and improvements.

I have another feature request that I think could make the app even more helpful, especially for users who rely on automation and routines.

Right now, I know that there are some useful URL schemes like anki://x-callback-url/addnote, and the option to long-press the app icon to jump straight into studying (which opens the last studied deck). However, there doesn’t seem to be a way (from checking URL Schemes - AnkiMobile Manual) to open and study a specific deck directly—either through an iOS Shortcut action or a dedicated URL scheme.

It would be fantastic if there were something like:

anki://x-callback-url/study?deck=NAMEOFDECK

—or an equivalent option through Shortcuts—so we could automatically open a particular deck at a set time (for example, to make sure our daily deck opens every morning).

I think this would make it much easier to build consistent study habits, especially for those of us who like to automate our workflow on iOS.

Thank you for considering this! I really appreciate your continued work and support for the community.

I’ve added this to the todo list to look into.

This’ll be in the next beta if you want to try it.

Hello! Super grateful for your work with this - has this feature now been incorporated? Would love to learn how to set this up via URL schemes. Thank you!
