Suddenly old notes appear as new

Hi,

I think this has happened before but I don’t remember the solution.

How do I fix this that the number of New Cards is correct again?

Are you sure these are not actually new cards?
If you want to change the display order of new cards, you can do that by going to the browser screen, selecting some cards, and clicking on Cards > Reposition.

Definitely. These are old cards I’ve been studying for years.
So instead of something less than 100 new cards I’m seeing about 5000, and I cannot remember doing anything differently than the last several years.

I suggest you roll back to a backup from before the problem occurred, then keep an eye on what triggers it if it comes up again.
