I’ve have some cards that use [sound:urlhere.mp3] for audio. They work on the mobile and webversion of anki but not on the desktop. Is there any way to fix this issue? I’m not sure what’s causing it.

Have you check that sound works on your machine and that the volume is sufficiently high? I don’t mean to imply anything, it’s just that a lot of people forget to check those things. What operating system (Windows, MacOS, Linux) are you using on your desktop?
