Sharing Description when sharing Deck

A user alerted me that the Description on one of my shared decks is not what I described in the manual. I realized that when I shared the deck, the beautiful description I had added to the deck options was not shared — instead the user is referred to the deck’s page on Ankiweb.

Is there a way around this?
Otherwise, I can’t think of a practical way to copy-paste the description below…

Thanks for any insights.

1. Remember to read the MANUAL!

Altough this is not how I recommend beginners use the deck, if you're an advanced student at times you may want to focus your study on a specific section of the deck. To do so, you can create filtered decks using the tags below.

Tags for filtered decks can be combined. For instance, if you wanted to look at all cards that have a 'vos' form in the present tense, you can use this filter:
tag:tú_vos tag:presente

Here is the full list of tags.

tag:yo
tag:tú_vos
tag:él_ella_usted
tag:nosotros
tag:vosotros

You can put the description on the shared deck download page, then users can see it before they download the deck, and you don’t have to maintain multiple copies of it.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Did something even better: at the bottom of each card, placed a link to a beautiful deck description that users can paste.

What’s the rationale for not sharing the Description when sharing a deck on Ankiweb?

It allows you to make updates after the deck has been downloaded - errata, new contact info, etc.
