Server Sync Help?

Hello,

I accidentally performed a sync without backing up. I was wondering if there was a server side backup as a last ditch effort.

Can you explain a little more about your situation?

  • Was it a one-way sync and you chose the wrong direction?
  • Is AnkiWeb the only place that you had that part of your collection or those changes (review history, edits, etc.) ?
  • Were the changes that were overwritten on AnkiWeb made recently?

I believe it was a one-way sync and I synced AnkiWeb which wiped what I had on AnkiDroid. Thank you for getting back to me.

Then you can restore a backup on AnkiDroid from before the sync. AnkiDroid User Manual

If you’ve got changes to your collection on multiple devices, you need to do this in order to get through a one-way sync – Syncing with AnkiWeb - Anki Manual .
