Another option is to use prop:reps and prop:lapsus
(prop:lapses>4 prop:reps<99) OR (prop:lapses>5 prop:reps<119)…
Another option is to use prop:reps and prop:lapsus
(prop:lapses>4 prop:reps<99) OR (prop:lapses>5 prop:reps<119)…
But what does this translate into though? This still wouldnt give the ratio since it would mean → all cards with a lapse count greater than 5, with rep count less than or equal to 100. This gives no fixed ratio between the numbers (e.g. 6 to 90, 19 to 87, etc…) unless I misunderstood smth.
This gives a ratio of =>0.05
Or in other words, where there is 1 error or more per 20 reviews.
Really . I thought it worked the way I understood them to work, that they work individually and not calculate together the ratio, that is. I will try this, thanks a lot.
Though my idea was that I needed that what I do, stay permanent in the collection, so that the reviewer shows me the card and its copies automatically. I fear that with using the filtered deck, the ratio will indeed go back down, but will later go back up as the card stops showing up in the filtered deck later on, then as the ratio rises up again, it then shows up again, meaning I would be stuck in a perpetual cycle.
What do you think
If you copy a card to another deck, then later you may not remember that you copied it and copy it again. Therefore, it is better to transfer to another deck.
I am using flags for that
If the card is poorly remembered, then perhaps it’s not the user but the card itself. If I were going to make a copy of such a card, I would rewrite it. Perhaps you need to change the picture or to rephrase the text. LLM can help with some tasks.
I think you should try to study such cards outside of Anki. I remember I couldn’t recall the name of statin and I used to forget it every single day, just like you. What did you do? Write statin on my mosquito repellent, then I told myself, okay this is statin, every day when I switch it on, it lowers my cholesterol It worked. I still remember this from a year ago. I don’t even use my repellant now. Write it down on a piece of paper and stick it to somewhere you see it everyday. Maybe in the wall before your table or in the toilet. It works for me without frustrating me. I also like stories so they work. Mind maps etc. are weird for me so I won’t frustrate myself with them.
Okay then just give up on them. In my country we only need 50 percent to pass those exams in medical school (at least as far as I know). I don’t expect it to be really high for Germany. Unless a piece of information is really essential to your practice I would just say leave them and don’t bother with them. But again, what I told you doesn’t even require “study”. It works in the long term at least for me.
I have listened to you.
Now I have this filtered deck called lapse. I presume this should give me cards that I rated today as again with a ratio greater than 0.025 (because I found out this ratio is my optimal one thanks to an addon).
I am beginning to think that maybe reviewing those cards that I failed today near my sleep time at the end of the day would help alleviate my problem. If this strategy fails, then I have no other choice than to hopelessly duplicate the crap our of these cards.
Do you know how to make custom temporary learning steps just for filtered decks
x
I guess this answers it.
Are there any alternatives to custom learning steps
Hmm wait. I did notice that if I turn the rescheduling off (i dont need it, since this is for cards that failed just today), this option shows up. How do I make this represent the intervals
1s 3m 7m 13m 26m 53m
I suppose this will give a minimum coefficient of 5/41~0.12
The answer is no way. And why do you need to double the intervals throughout the day. As far as I know, there is no proven effectiveness of such an approach at short intervals.
If you still want something similar, then put
“again” -15m
“hard” - 30m
“good” - 60m
If you can see all the maps in 15 minutes, of course. Go through the cards for the first time and click on everything “again”, after “hard”, after “good”. For the last time, it doesn’t matter what you squeeze.
No not through out the day . I was planning to Relearn the cards near my sleeping time and stop . But I guess just doing it one time would be enough near the end of the day would be enough
