After upgrading to Version 2.1.30 I cannot import .csv files into Anki desktop.
I am using exactly the same process as I did with the previous version. The .csv is saved in the correct format as before, and I am using the same procedure as before to import the file.
What makes this very confusing is that occasionally, when trying to import new .csv files, Anki will import one card, but not the others.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
I’m not sure how to reproduce it.
Maybe, if the drop-down box in the Import dialog was set to “Ignore lines where first field matches existing note”, they’re already in the collection and were ignored by Anki.
Hi,after reading your message, I selected the drop-down option “Import even if existing note has the same field” and this enabled me to import the .csv fields without any issues. I’m not sure why this worked though - but thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
