Searching with an nc: term has become slow in Anki 2.1.37. On two different collections, a search can take 2 or 3 seconds with 100% CPU utilization. When trying the searches again on 2.1.36 there is no perceptible delay.
I suspect you missed the āOptimized buildsā section of docs/linux.md
