I got a new laptop last year, downloaded Anki to it, but the program stated (this was a while ago) that I can only create new decks on one laptop in addition to the desktop. My desktop is in one country, my new laptop is in another with me and I want to create new decks. Last I saw you cannot create decks on AnkiWeb. Did I misunderstand or is this no longer the case? I cannot find any info about it. Do I need to delete Anki from the old laptop or even the desktop to be able to create decks on the new laptop? Other programs have licenses, but haven’t seen anything about this. Please advise. I don’t want to try a lot of stuff and start over again.
I am not sure that’s the official Anki. Can you check it’s Anki from the official website?
You can, in fact, use AnkiWeb to create decks and cards. The Create Deck button is on the bottom of screen.
