Hello,
In february, my laptop with my anky app was stolen. I had createed all my desks on this laptop and there was about two thousand vocabulary words for my studies. I am sure that I had once synchronized my data on AnkiWeb, but now when I connect to my account onthe website, I cannot find any of the decks I worked on for years.
I am really disappointed. That is why I am asking you through this request wether you could do something to help me.
Thanks,

I’m really sorry to hear about your laptop.
From what I can see in your AnkiWeb account (associated with the email address you used to post here) – you created the account in 2022, but in late 2023, you stopped using it for studying or syncing. After 6 months of inactivity, in May 2024, your collection data was removed from the servers – AnkiWeb account removal - Anki FAQs .
Did you sync your local collection with AnkiWeb again between May 2024 and February of this year? If not, we don’t have your data.
Or if that history doesn’t sound accurate – do you have another AnkiWeb account (under another email address) that you’ve been using?
Other places you can look that you might not have thought of –
- Backups of important files from your hard drive
- Cloud storage
- Messages/emails, if you ever sent your decks to someone else (or to yourself)
- Any other devices you synced with your account between 2022 and 2024

Thank you for your answer. I did not use my account for six months. I did not know the data would be deleted. Unfortunately, I do not have any solutions to get the data back.
Kind regards,

If you are going to leave your account inactive, make sure you have it connected to an email address that you check regularly. AnkiWeb sends a warning email 30 days before taking action, and you can re-activate your account by following the directions in that email.
