I tried many keyboard apps such as fcitix, fcitix5, etc. but none worked on Anki. Note that all these keyboard apps worked on other apps like terminals, browsers, and so on. I am lost; I tried Arch Linux wiki but there was no solution to such a problem. I hope someone knows of a solution.

That seems like a bad install, but for what it’s worth, when I used Linux, I found ibus worked well and was very flexible with a choice of different keyboards for each language. I was using it for Devanagari/ITRANS at the time.
