basically, it took me 2 hours to download anki on chromeos linux, all for the anking deck. i paid for the membership but soon realized i also needed the actual desktop app and not just anki web. maybe it’s because of the anki hub add-on? I don’t wanna delete the app cuz i took so long figuring out how to download it. this is hurting my head -_-
ok, i deleted it cuz my chromebook got too hot. ill just stick with my milesdown it seems
AnkiHub is a third party for medical students and is not related to the official Anki, so you need to contact their community for info about Ankihub. https://community.ankihub.net/
Since there are relatively few Anki users who use the Chromebook there is not much info available. There is a guide on how to install it on Reddit. RedditPost: Installing Anki on Chromebook (Linux) 2023 Updated Guid
Anki users who use Chromebooks often use Ankidroid, but if you use the Ankihub add-on, you need a desktop. So far it seems that no other Chromebook users have reported the same problem as you.
