Dae isn’t a developer on AnkiDroid, so he won’t be able to help you with that.
Probably your best next steps would be to search the issue tracker on AnkiDroid’s github – Issues · ankidroid/Anki-Android · GitHub – to see if it’s already been suggested, and add your comment there. If it hasn’t been suggested already, you can add it as a new feature request (there’s a specific form for that after you click New Issue).
