I wanted to share a small UI suggestion for the iOS study screen. On newer iPhones with rounded display edges, the leftmost and rightmost answer buttons (Again and Easy) appear slightly cut off by the screen corners.
The buttons are still functional, so this isn’t a usability blocker, but visually it’s a bit uncomfortable.
I’m mentioning this specifically because I know a UI overhaul for iOS 26 is already on the to-do list, so it felt like a good time to raise it. Would it be possible in a future update to either:
make the Again/Hard/Good/Easy buttons a bit more rounded, or
move the whole button row slightly upward / inward so it clears the rounded display edges?
Would it be possible to get a photo or screenshot showing this UI behavior? And, what phone model are you seeing this on?
(I suspect that a screenshot won’t show the issue. The screenshot instead would probably show the screen and buttons as they are supposed to appear, without anything cut off.)
I am not able to see this UI behavior on on iPhone 13 with iOS 26.2 and AnkiMobile 25.09. The Again and Easy buttons are not cut off at the screen corners. In fact, I can see that button corners don’t even touch the edge of the screen. There is a little bit of space between the buttons and the edge of the screen. This happens regardless of the size of the Bottom Bar Size setting.
Thank you for that information. I’ll assume that the UI positioning is just slightly incorrect for the dimensions or aspect ratio for the iPhone 17 Pro Max display, perhaps based on assumptions based on older models.
Display specs:
iPhone 13: 2532 x 1170 px (2.16:1)
iPhone 17 Pro Max: 2868 × 1320 px (2.17:1)
