Import not responding

When File → Import is clicked, nothing happens. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled it. The error remains. How can this be solved please?

Version ⁨2.1.49
Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

Have you tried it with Ctrl-I, or by dragging the file onto Anki?

Have you tried running Anki from a terminal, and see what it prints when you click on Import?
