I deleted my flashcards just now and I do not used the Laptop app version, is there any way my flashcards can be restored to a version dated yesterday or today?
I’m looking at the AnkiWeb account connected to the email address you used to post here. That account isn’t empty, so it doesn’t appear you deleted all of your flashcards. Is there something specific you’re looking for that you cannot find?
I deleted a set of flashcards, not all of them. They are labelled “Statistics for biomedical sciences” and I deleted a subset under this and for some reason it deleted all of the flash card sub sets under this title when I only wanted to delete one.
I don’t have any way to restore just a portion of your collection. If I restore a backup version on the server, it will overwrite your collection, and you’ll lose any updates, edits, and reviews that you’ve done since then. Similar to the situation you were in 2 years ago, if you want to preserve your current collection, you’ll need to do that first, by syncing.
The most recent server-side backup was created on/at [click for timestamp in your local time zone]. You’ll have to determine if that was before/after the deletion, or if you want the backup from approximately a week prior to that. If you want me to restore a backup to your AnkiWeb account, please confirm that you’ve preserved your current collection (if you’re going to), and which backup I should restore.
The most recent server-side back-up on the 12/10/2026 was a day prior to me deleting them and I hadn’t made any new ones that day, I am not too sure how to preserve my collection and if I didn’t make any new ones after deleting them then do I need to?
If I don’t need to save them, could it be restored to the newest server-side backup please? That should be 12/10/26
