How can I create a filtered deck with only one deck whilst also using "is:due prop:due>-7" from the Anki Manual?

To catch up with an anki deck, I want to create a filtered deck.

I have followed the advice at Filtered Decks (ankiweb.net) and have put “is:due prop:due>-7” into the search function with the name of the home deck where the cards are coming from as shown here: deck: "Chinese Lesson 27 is:due prop:due>-7"

This did not work. A box popped up reading, “The provided search did not match any cards. Would you like to revise it?”

How can I create a filtered deck with only one deck whilst also using “is:due prop:due>-7” from the Anki Manual?

You have the (") in the wrong place.

Presumably you want

deck:"Chinese Lesson 27" is:due prop:due>-7

Note the space after the colon was also removed.
