After answering a card, it would be nice to have a “hide answer” option (like you get when you preview cards). You could tap that instead of again/hard/good/easy, and revert back to the front of the card. This would let you immediately and easily look at the clue again (in case maybe you read it too fast or misread it).

I usually just answer it and then hit undo

Right, I guess there’s no other way.
Trouble is, tapping undo sends the card back into the queue. If you want to see the card fresh again immediately, you’re out of luck. “Hide answer” in preview mode solves this nicely.
