It was last updated 5 years ago, and does not appear to support recent versions of Anki so it is not improbable for it to be likely broken in one or more ways.

According to the website page it is a fork of another addon, for which there are more updated versions I see in the addon list:

I haven’t used any of them so I can’t give much insight beyond their seeming to exist.
