Finding a particular image occlusion card in browse

Good Evening ! Last time I reached out I got such amazing help, I am hoping to see if you guys have anything with my new issue. Days after adding more and more I/O, I have a tremendous amount of cards. Sometimes instead of looking at my class notes I open my cards because I know its in there somewhere, but I cant sort it and find it as easily as if i had a basic or Cloze has and could see a particular keyword in the header. is there a way to tag I/O cards to able to pull up a topic, or can i alter the columns to be able to display some text thats on the image instead of just this? Thanks in advance !

There’s a few things you can do –

  • If you Toggle out of the “Mask Editor” to the field editor, you can add a Header to explain what the note is. That will show up at the front of the in the “Question” column as well.
  • By default it will also show at the top of each card, so make sure it doesn’t give away the answer. Or else you can hide from the card by modifying the card template – e.g. changing the first line of the front template to – {{#Header}}<div style="display: none">{{Header}}</div>{{/Header}}.
  • You can also add tags to the note in the field editor, and show those in the Browse window in the “Tags” column.

Omg thank you! have been looking for that for so long, if possible, can you see this image and advise on how to move the text box behind the occlusion, it seems that if i make the occlusion after, it works, but when i edit the card by grouping/ungrouping it stays like this

I don’t think I’ve heard about any “send to back” functionality in IO. A workaround might be to cover the later-added text box with its own occlusion, grouped with the others. That should appear on top of the text and give you the same effect.

Copying the occlusions then removing the originals seems to put them at the top.
