CMD-K is a common shortcut in almost every text editing field on MacOS (e.g. works in Chrome URL Bar, every terminal, …). It deletes all text from the cursor till the end of line.
Could this be supported in Anki Desktop Add Card?

Some extra context from Linux that I think will apply to MacOS as well:
Someone’s list of bash shortcuts: Bash keyboard shortcuts · GitHub
The image in that list that describes movement and deletion:
I’ll add that wherever anything gets added, it may not be consistent across Anki. For example, CONTROL-u
and CONTROL-k
already work for deleting a line in either direction while in the “Export” window’s “File name” text field. CONTROL-DEL
also works to delete a word forward. But none of these work while in the “Browse” window’s search field.
And then there’s the fact of conflict for some of the normal hotkeys. CONTROL-d
won’t work in the “Browse” window because it’s bound to “Change Deck”. CONTROL-k
won’t work because it’s bound to “Toggle Mark”.
In the “Add” card window, CONTROL-u
is already bound to toggling underline. But from the images I see of MacOS keyboards, it looks like COMMAND
and CONTROL
are separate:
