Exporting RemNote decks to Anki - card formatting is poor

Wanting to combine the use of RemNote for inputting notes with the ease of Anki flashcards. When exporting my RemNote deck after creating some flashcards, I realise that when exported to Anki, the Basic card types aren’t a simply ‘Front’ to ‘Back’ format, instead ‘Folder->Page name->Front’ to ‘Back’. Just wanted to know if there was a way to export RemNote decks in a way that turns “Front == Back” on RemNote into ‘Front’ to ‘Back’ on Anki? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Is there a way? It’s hard to know since we don’t know anything about RemNote.

I assume this is a plain text/CSV file that you’re getting from RemNote? Anki can’t control what RemNote does when it creates the file, so the first place you should check is with RemNote. What can you change about what RemNote puts in the file? With a good understanding of what a text/CSV file needs to look like to be properly formatted for import into Anki, you might be able to figure out what is going wrong in the file.

It may be that you can get RemNote to create it differently, or you may need to edit the file manually (or somewhat manually) before importing it into Anki. Or it may be that you can select different options during Anki import to have it recognize different things in the field.

If you’re looking for ideas about exactly what Anki might be able to import differently, you’ll have to post a couple sample rows/notes from your text file –
```
as text in a code block - by putting backticks before/after them.
```
And you’ll have to explain to us what is going wrong on the import – as in, what piece of information is going to the wrong place, and where is it coming from.
